Influencer Marketing Specialist, Networking Advisor

Stylist and Modelling

• Early Beginnings: I began my journey as a model and influencer content creator in 2018, initially collaborating with local bands for test shoots. These opportunities paved the way for various campaigns and helped me build a diverse portfolio on Instagram.
• Current Role: While my availability for shoots has decreased over time, I still engage in ad-hoc modelling projects. This selective approach allows me to maintain quality and focus on my other commitments.
• Styling Experience: My time at "Rent a Dress KL" as a senior stylist provided me with hands-on experience in managing client fittings. I learned to understand customer needs deeply and to provide an exceptional shopping experience, enhancing my skills in client relations and fashion curation.
• Networking: Through modelling, I’ve built a strong network, working with independent photographers and various brands in the fashion and beauty industry. This network has been invaluable for collaboration and growth.

Influencer Marketing and Management

• Campaign Coordination: At KOMACI, I gained extensive experience in influencer marketing, coordinating campaigns with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) and celebrities. I managed campaigns for notable clients like Connor’s Stout Porter, Traveloka, Rohto Mentholatum, Dove, McDonald's, and KFC.
• Building Relationships: I prioritise building genuine connections with influencers and celebrities. I’ve found that personal touches in communication lead to better collaboration and significantly improve the output of campaigns. This approach has helped me negotiate favourable deals and foster long-term partnerships.
• Event Campaigns: My role also involved managing exhibition-based campaigns, such as the One Piece Asia Tour RWG and The Minions Experience RWG. These projects required careful planning, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure, given the high-paced environments of nightlife outlets and major events.

Digital Marketing and Social Media

• Social Media Management: I managed social media accounts for nightlife outlets, where I honed my skills in content creation and audience engagement. My experience in this fast-paced environment taught me the importance of timely and relevant content to capture attention.
• Content Creation: I focus on creating visually appealing and engaging content that resonates with the target audience. This includes everything from photoshoots to event highlights, ensuring that the branding remains consistent and appealing.
• Strategic Campaigns: In managing digital marketing efforts, I emphasise leveraging social media platforms to maximise reach and engagement. I regularly analyse performance metrics to refine strategies and ensure the campaigns align with client objectives.

Strategic Planning and Proposals

• Creative Strategy Development: I enjoy creating strategic proposals that connect creative directions with suitable KOL profiles. This strategic planning is essential for bringing campaigns to life and ensuring they meet the intended goals.
• Proposal Handling: My experience includes drafting sales proposals that outline campaign objectives, target audiences, and expected outcomes. I focus on presenting clear and compelling reasons for brands to collaborate with us.
• Connecting Ideas: I thrive on connecting innovative ideas with practical execution plans, ensuring that each campaign not only looks great but also drives measurable results. My background in both styling and influencer marketing allows me to approach projects holistically.

Startup Co-founder

• Visionary Leadership: As a co-founder of LalaHero, I helped shape the company’s mission to connect opinion seekers with experienced individuals, ensuring a platform that emphasises practical and realistic advice and experience based mentorship.
• Community Engagement: I actively engage with and expand our community, fostering relationships with both seekers and Heroes to understand their needs and enhance our services.
• Strategic Development: I contribute to the strategic planning and growth of LalaHero, leveraging my background in networking skills, strategic planning and social media to build brand awareness and drive user engagement.

• After primary school, I attended an international school, MAZ International, at Taman Paramount for my entire secondary school where I completed my IGCSEs. It was the first time I had peers of mixed ages and nationalities in my classes, as we were all assessed and ranked by academic performance, particularly for English.
• MAZ was initially a full Korean school years before I had enrolled but later integrated with a mix of international students from various backgrounds such as students from UAE, Maldives, Africa, India, Japan and many others.
• I completed my secondary school education at MAZ, taking subjects like Mathematics, Science, ICT, World History, Geography, and more.
• I was part of the junior cheerleading team where I played a role in the routine choreography, as I continued with ballet. I also ran track (100m sprint, 4x100m and 4x400m) as running was a key part of my stamina training for ballet.
• Immediately after graduating school, I explored hairstyling at "A Cut Above," which was my aspiration since I was a child but had to discontinue due to severe auto-immune health issues. I still enjoy doing hair for friends and family as favours for them.
• Later, I enrolled in a foundation course in Mass Communication at Curtin University (Miri, Sarawak), which was subsidised by the government.
• Once I had completed my foundation course I had decided to take a gap year and step into the workforce to have the advantage of employment experience to boost my perspective in handling university assignments, which is when I had my first full time job as a stylist at Rent-A-Dress, KL for slightly over a year. I had learned an extensive amount of people skills and personality management from this job.
• My journey took me back to university as I pursued a degree at the International University of Malaya-Wales (IUMW) in Professional Communications, however my final year and a half was during the pandemic lockdown and I did all my lessons virtually to the end, including my FYP Presentation which was a thesis on the Long-Term Impact of Covid-19 Lockdown on Children’s (below 12) Communication Skills along with a podcast including a counsellor and a kindergarten teacher discussing the matter based on their first hand experience.
